The town of Camillus has been a great customer of ours for many years. They removed a well-used and much-loved swimming pool and contacted us to design a barrier-free splashpad to put in its place.
Initially, the residents were very upset that the pool was being demolished… but once the splashpad opened, they loved it! On any given summer day, it is packed with kids of all ages and abilities.
To complement the splashpad, they asked us to design a 2-5 structure as well as a 5-12 play structure. Now families can spend an entire day at this park, moving from the splashpad to the playground area. We hear that this park has become a hot spot for children’s birthday parties.
