For this splashpad at Cummings Field, the city asked that we include a subtle nod to the sport of baseball, so the spray guns are designed to look like baseballs. In addition to various ground sprays, we also included a sun spray feature in the center. Fun for kids of all ages and abilities! And no lifeguards required!
"The City of Syracuse Parks Department has partnered with Denzak Recreational Design & Supply on several key projects that have directly improved recreation access and quality of life in neighborhoods across the city. Together, we repurposed an underutilized ballfield at Cummings Field into a baseball-themed splash pad, bringing new, accessible recreation to the Eastwood neighborhood."
