The Town of Lancaster is pleased to announce that construction has been completed at a new inclusive playground at Westwood Park, located at 175 Pavement Road, in Lancaster, NY. The playground was constructed by Denzak Recreational Design and Supply Inc, located in Syracuse, NY and consists of a Miracle Playground. Miracle Playground is well known for Inclusive Playground Projects and is headquartered in Monett, Missouri. Their motto is “Every Child Deserves the Chance to Play Together.”

Lancaster Town Board Members and Town Employees worked closely with Joseph M Denzak Jr and his team at Denzak Recreational Design and Supply to determine the appropriate design to match the existing playground footprint in Westwood Park.

“I am extremely pleased that the Town of Lancaster is now able to offer a barrier free playground to kids throughout our community, said Lancaster Town Supervisor, Bob Leary. “This is an accessible playground that meets ADA guidelines and creates a truly inclusive play area for children of all abilities. Thank you to the taxpayers of Lancaster for making this possible.”

There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony Tuesday May 20th at 10:00 am at Westwood Park located in Lancaster, NY, with entrances off Pavement Road and Schwartz Road and the Media is invited to attend.
